Day 1: Enjoy the Views
Arriving at Poros is a part of the adventure. Enjoy a hydrofoil cruise from Patras, which takes you along the Corinthian Sea, through the Corinth Canal, across the Peloponnese to Galatas, and finally to the island of Poros. From there you can take a short walk to the town clock tower, a popular destination in Poros. The clock tower stands atop the highest hill in Poros, and from there, you can truly appreciate the beauty of the entire town. Admire the bright, neoclassical architecture of the houses against a backdrop of the turquoise Mediterranean Sea.
Day 2: Water Activities
As you can imagine, Poros is well-known for its beaches. During your three days in Poros, you can simply relax, sunbathe, and swim in the clear blue sea, or you can enjoy countless water activities. Choose from waterskiing, wakeboarding, banana boating, parasailing, and tubing for a custom-made fun day in the sun. You’ll also want to utilize free bike rentals to allow the opportunity to explore more of the island!
Day 3: Explore the Island
There is so much to enjoy both in and around Poros. If you head straight for the central town square, you will find plenty of shopping, and you can enjoy lunch with locals at a taverna. Or if you are up for an adventure, then take a hike to explore 6th-century ruins, including those of Poseidon’s Temple. Poros has a lot to offer, but this town is just the right size for a three-day experience.
