Keukenhof is a park dotted with beautiful gardens filled with famous tulips and other flowers that grow in the spring. It is absolutely beautiful and a must-see. Plus, there are plenty of tulip fields next to it if you can’t get enough of it!
Have Fun at an Amusement Park
Nothing beats an amusement park on a warm, sunny spring day. Not too hot or cold, and there is plenty to do to keep yourself busy. There are plenty of amusement parks in the Netherlands, and the most notable one is called Efteling. If you are looking for an enjoyable way to enjoy the weather and get an adrenaline rush, this might be the thing you need!
Visit Some Dutch Castles
This may surprise you, but Holland has plenty of beautiful castles! The beautiful spring weather offers the ideal opportunity to explore a castle near you and learn a bit about its history. All of these castles have incredible landscapes around them too. So if you are with someone who is not into history, then the place itself and the nearby areas will win them over for sure.
Visit a Beach
One other thing to do with your time that’s worthwhile in Holland? Going to a beach of course! Holland has a wide range of lovely sandy beaches. They’re actually quite underrated since Holland is not known for its beaches. The beaches in Scheveningen are beautiful, so give them a visit next time you’re there in the spring!
Check Out the Windmills
Two of the most popular destinations to visit for breathtaking windmills are in Kinderdijk and Zaanse Schans. You could go for a walk or a bike ride by the stunning windmills and tulip fields here.
